This policy was compiled by the staff of I.R. Lesolang High school in Consultation with Parents,School Governing Body and the local Department of Health.Formaly ratified by the School Governing Body on the 30th January 2007.

I.R.Lesolang high school is governed by a number of policies that make it easier to manage it. Policies that are in place include;

HIV Policy
Drug Policy

DRUG Policy
The purpose of this policy is to make clear to the entire school community the position of this school regarding the use of nicotine, alcohol and other mood altering substances. The policy also involves procedures and consequences applicable to incidents regarding these substances.

This policy was compiled by the department of Life Orientation in consultation with the following stake holders:

School Governing Body
Department of Health
